Helping you find your way back to your body

Living with Long Covid or chronic fatigue can bring ongoing challenges to daily life.

These classes are designed to support those experiencing fatigue, low energy and the need for gentle movement as part of their recovery. Originally created for people with Long Covid, they are also highly suitable for those managing conditions such as Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and autoimmune conditions, or anyone undergoing treatment that requires a slow, restorative approach.

Each session focuses on accessible techniques that can be done lying down, sitting or standing, with the option to use a chair for added support. This is a space to move gently, breathe deeply and build trust in your body again.

How yoga can support your recovery

Some of the techniques used in yoga can help manage the symptoms of Long Covid and other illnesses resulting in chronic fatigue. Gentle movements nourish the joints and stimulate the lymphatic system. Simple breathing practices can restore healthy breathing patterns and ease feelings of breathlessness. A variety of meditation techniques and guided relaxation can help bring the body into a state of autonomic relaxation, allowing healing to occur.

  • Gentle movement to nourish the joints, encourage circulation and maintain essential muscular strength without overexertion.

  • Supported and soothing stretches to ease tension, release stiffness and promote comfort.

  • Breathwork practices to calm the nervous system, support oxygen flow and enhance energy levels.

  • Meditation and mindfulness to bring focus, stability and a deeper connection to your body’s needs.

  • Relaxation methods to encourage deep rest and aid in overall healing.

These gentle techniques are designed to meet you exactly where you are, helping to build energy gradually, ease symptoms and create a stronger foundation for everyday life.

“A really supportive, positive and relaxing yoga for long covid session. Really glad I made it and grateful to have a place on the course!” — Emmy

A personal and caring approach

Before joining, I like to have a confidential chat so I can understand how Long Covid or chronic fatigue is affecting you, any treatment or support you may be receiving and how best to tailor the class to your needs. Every session is adapted to meet you where you are on the day, with plenty of time for rest and recovery.

I have over fifteen years of teaching experience and a particular interest in anatomy and the body’s natural capacity to adapt and self-heal. I taught yoga for Long Covid for two years through the NHS, supporting people to manage breathlessness, fatigue and emotional challenges. My approach is grounded, evidence-informed and compassionate, creating a safe and supportive space for your recovery.
